Purpose: To demonstrate how environmental concern, green trust and perceived risk would be examined as correlates of Electric Vehicle (EV) purchase intention among prospective buyers of electric two-wheelers and electric cars in Delhi-NCR and whether green trust carries part of the association between concern and intention. Design: A cross-sectional survey design, demonstrated on simulated data after standard screening. Four multi-item constructs were measured on five-point scales. The workflow comprises exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis on separate random halves, reliability and validity assessment, correlation, hierarchical regression and a bootstrapped indirect effect with 5,000 resamples. Findings: Not applicable to real consumers. In the simulated records, the analysis ran as designed and returned associations in the proposed directions, which is expected because the records were generated from a specified correlation structure. Originality: The model combines constructs that appear less often together in the Indian EV literature. Novelty is not claimed pending a systematic database search. Limitations. Simulated data; for a real study, a cross-sectional design, self-reported intention, non-probability sampling and a single metropolitan region.
