Canada has one of the highest immigration rates per capita among advanced economies, and newcomers now account for a substantial share of population growth and labor supply. These demographic shifts have profound implications for consumer markets, reshaping demand patterns, retail landscapes, and marketing strategies. This conceptual and exploratory paper examines how recent immigration trends influence Canadian consumer markets through changes in demographic structure, cultural preferences, income distribution, and spatial settlement patterns. Drawing on immigration statistics, market reports, and scholarly literature, the paper develops an integrated framework linking immigration to consumption across categories such as food, housing, financial services, digital platforms, and ethnic niche markets. A mixed-methods research design is proposed to empirically test the framework using survey data, secondary statistics, and retail panel data. The paper highlights opportunities for firms to tailor offerings, communication, and channel strategies to increasingly diverse consumer segments, while also recognizing challenges such as market fragmentation, inclusion, and affordability. The article concludes with managerial implications, policy considerations, and directions for future research
